Terms & Conditions

1. The cottages are avalible between 3pm on the date of arrival and 10am on the date of departure. Guests planning to arrive late are asked to indication this on the Reservation Form or by telephone.

2. A deposit of 30% of the total holiday cost is required with booking or payment in full of your stay is less than 28 days away. The balance is due no less than 28 days before the commencement date. Non payment by the due date will be treated as a cancellation and we will reserve the right to re-let the cottage and the deosit will be forfeited.
(cheques make payable to Wintershead Farm).

3. If you have to cancel, please advise us immediatly. All deposits are non-refundable and the insurance will cover most cancellations. We do strongly recommend that you take out Holiday Insurance against cancellation as even verbal bookings are a legal contract. Insurance forms are enclosed; please complete and send direct to the Insurance Co. - the charge is quite reasonable.

4. In the unlikely event of your cottage being unavalible for reasons beyond the Owners' control, every effort will be made to provide an alternative cottage within the farm, or a complete refund will be given.
No further liability will be accepted.

5. The NUMBER of PERSONS or PETS occupying a cottage MUST NOT exceed that stated on the Reservation Form unless agreed previously with the Owners.

6. Well behaved, fully house-trained dogs are allowed by arrangement- but MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED in the cottage at any time. However, if you wish to leave them while you go out, you may use a stable by arrangement. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms.

7. The Owners reserve the right to excess to the cottage at all reasonable times.

8. The Owners cannot accept liability for loss or damage Guests' property or for personal injury, cars and horse boxes parked at owners' risk.

9. The owners endeavour to maintain the high standards of comfort and cleanliness at all times. To continue these standards, the Hirer must undertake to keep all furniture, fittings & effects in the same good condition as found. There is a list of items kept in each cottage. Any breakages should be reported at once; we reserve the right to charge for non-trivial damage howsoever caused.

10. Please bring your own towels.
