Any booking made within 7 days of the arrival date will be discounted by 10%
• A deposit of £75/week is required at the time of booking, and the balance of the price is due 6 weeks prior to the date of arrival. All bookings made less than 6 weeks ahead will be charged in full at the time of booking.
• In the event of cancellation, the following refunds apply:
More than 8 weeks ahead Full refund less £25 administration fee
6-8 weeks ahead 50% refund
4-6 weeks ahead 25% refund
Less than 4 weeks ahead Full price is payable
(In the event of a cancellation we will try to relet the cottage. If we are successful, we will return any money you have paid less a £25 administration fee)
• £10 of electricity per week (pro rata for short breaks) is included in the price. Usage is meter-read and additional units will be charged at the prevailing rate. At current prices, this can range from no extra charge in the smallest cottage in high summer, through to £7+/day in the largest cottage in cold weather. Extensive use of electronic equipment can further increase this range.
• Cottages are available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Please notify us if you intend to arrive after 7pm. Access may be impossible after 10pm, in which case access will be available from 9am the following morning.
• Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. You are expected to leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition. This includes ensuring that all bins are emptied; that the fridge and shelves are cleared of all food; that all crockery and cutlery is left clean and dry and in the appropriate cupboards and drawers; that surface and floors are left clean, and that beds are stripped of any used linen.
• Home Farm will not accept liability for any incident, accident, loss or damage caused by incorrect or improper use of fixtures, fittings or accessories in the cottages or grounds, nor from any failure to act reasonably and/or responsibly in the cottages and grounds.
• We reserve the right to charge for any breakages; for the costs of specialist cleaning in the event of spillage, and for any damage to fixtures and fittings.
